Eat, Sleep, Repeat. AND... is that sunset for real?

Hey Everyone! First, check out this sky...WOW is all I have to say! (lots more pictures at the end of the post-just scroll down!)

The last two days have been heavenly. Believe it or not, we haven't left the hotel yet. This hotel is on 117 acres of cliff & bluffside property, including beaches, so there is SO much to see and explore, and a lot of it is natural to the area, so we have been having fun trying all the food and different areas that there are here. Also, the jet lag has been AWFUL for us...we've been falling asleep at 6:30 at night and waking up at 3 or 4 a.m.! But, that means that I've seen more sunrises here than I have back home in the last 7 years combined (for those of you who know my sleeping habits, this is not a surprise to you! lol.) Anyway, we will be leaving the hotel in the next few days on some serious adventures, and we're giving ourselves a few days to get used to the altitude, climate, air, etc. Plus, we're having fun just unwinding and getting into "vacation mode!" And, along those same lines, here are some pics from the last two days. The sunsets are unreal...they look like paintings. See for yourselves...! Pictures below...

Miss you all and wish you were here,

D & E

On the way down to the beach...

A rock.

Restaurant on the pier...
The pier...

On the way to dinner..(this was the first time I even got my makeup bag out since we arrived!)Our ocean-view table had Emmett's name and "Mr." on it to greet us!

This is the view from the other side of our dinner table...
And the next few pictures are progressions of the sunset that night. It was stunning--even more stunning than the pictures, if you can imagine. Every night there is a procession before the sunset with offerings of fruit and flowers and other items. It's nice to see people appreciating the things we take for granted everyday, like the fact that the sun rises and sets, every single day. The old adage is true...a picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll leave the rest to the pictures...

Freaking love it. I'm so doing that tonight as the sun goes down - I'll take Louise outside and we'll bang drums and chant.

SO glad you're having SO much fun!
